Rolls-Royce Phantom Series II Press Launch – Heritage Car Support
1st – 15th May 2012

P & A Wood were asked to provide support for a Rolls-Royce Phantom II Continental 1933 by Park Ward at the Rolls-Royce Motor Cars press launch of the new Phantom Series II, to be held at Cap Estel, Monaco, for the first two weeks of May.

Georgina Wood attended the event as heritage car supervisor and support and spent two weeks taking journalist’s out in the car which was restored by P & A Wood ten years ago.

The car is still in excellent condition and coped brilliantly with the demanding task. Just to get to the reception of the hotel ‘Cap Estel’ meant encountering three hairpin bends, only to do a 6-point turn to turn around at the bottom!

The event did not pass by without its challenges but the Phantom II (which Georgina has named ‘Pickle’) was very well received by everybody.

Georgina says it seemed a long time to be away but that she was delighted with how well it went, and is even more delighted to be home!
