P & A Wood in India

Paul and Andrew have just returned from India where they judged at the 21 Gun Salute Concours. Organised by Madan Mohan the event is fast becoming very popular with International visitors, both Paul and Andrew also attended last year.

We had two cars entered, a beautiful Rolls-Royce Phantom V owned by Mr Robert Gaines-Cooper which won its class and a Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost London to Edinburgh which picked up the second major award of the event from the Ministry of Tourism.

The cars were very well received and both Paul and Andy thoroughly enjoyed their time in Delhi, as well as travelling to Jaipur and Agra with their wives to see some sights of one of their favourite countries.

Paul’s daughter Gillian and her husband Ben travelled with them and during their trip they took time to visit a charity very close to Ben’s heart. Ben is an Equine Veterinarian and he supports The Brooke, a charity helping to educate people using equines for their livelihood to look after them properly.
