Bentley Drivers Club Summer Concours 2018

P & A Wood attended the Bentley Drivers Club Summer Concours on Sunday 10th June at Stonor Park in Oxfordshire.

It was a perfect setting for the event, for which we took four cars to display on our stand including a 1935 Bentley 3½ Litre Special Sports Open Tourer, a 1950 Bentley Mk VI Special Sports Open Tourer, a Bentley S1 Continental Drophead Coupé by Park Ward and a Bentley S2 Continental 2-Door Coupé LHD. All of the cars were well received and looked very beautiful in the early summer sun.

There were three cars entered by owners, which have recently completed restorations here at P & A Wood. We are delighted with the following results;

Bentley 3½ Litre (owned by Mr & Mrs Henry Robet) - Best Derby Car & Overall Supreme Champion
Bentley Mk VI Lightweight (owned by Mr Fred Kriz) - Best Crewe Car
Bentley R-Type Continental (owned by Mr Dean Kronsbein) - Highly Commended Crewe Car
Bentley Turbo R (owned by Mr Arnold) - Highly Commended

All of the cars were extremely well received and we are most grateful to our customers, not just for allowing us to restore cars to such high standards, but also for choosing to show them at events such as this.

As ever, we had a great team with us on the day and we are most grateful to the Bentley Drivers Club for such a well-organised event. We hope that all those that attended had a great time.
